Marketing & New Business Development Assistant


Years of Experience: Minimum of five to seven years of relevant professional experience within the financial services industry required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or finance

Purpose: Support both the Chief Marketing Officer and the Managing Director of New Business Development in the successful planning, execution and analysis of marketing and growth initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Marketing

Support the creation, customization and maintenance of sales presentations and marketing collateral
Help coordinate digital, traditional and social media marketing campaigns and events
Write and edit content for various uses, including the web, social media, email campaigns and client communications
Conduct competitive, market and industry research, including data collection and analysis
Employ marketing analytics techniques to help examine the effectiveness of marketing efforts

New Business Development

Help onboard new account relationships
Support key new business development initiatives
Help identify new business opportunities

Administrative

Perform a variety of daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing and new business development efforts, including light phones and calendar management

Functional & Business Knowledge

Ability to handle numerous tasks and deliverables simultaneously, while being highly organized and paying an extremely close attention to detail
Previous wealth management experience is a plus.
Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, as well as with clients, as required
Adept in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Data-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills
Creative thinker and team player with a willingness to learn new things
Previous writing, editing and digital marketing experience a plus
Experience with financial planning software a plus
