First Manhattan’s mutual funds are managed using the same risk-averse, long-term, value-oriented approach as our customized portfolios. With a lower investment threshold than our customized portfolios, First Manhattan’s mutual funds provide a good way to start investing with us—whether you are a new investor or a parent, grandparent, or custodian looking to start a beneficiary’s account.
FMC Select Fund
The FMC Select Fund (FMSLX) invests primarily in the common stocks of U.S. companies with medium to large market capitalizations (in excess of $1 billion). The Fund’s investment objective is total return, primarily through capital appreciation and, to a lesser degree, through current income.
FMC Strategic Value Fund
The FMC Strategic Value Fund (FMSVX) invests primarily in the common stocks of U.S. companies with small to medium market capitalizations ($250 million to $5 billion). The Fund’s investment objective is long-term capital appreciation; it invests in companies that we believe are selling at a market price below their true value and have the potential to increase in value over time.
SEI Investments Distribution Co. ("SIDCO") (1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA, 19456) is the distributor of the FMC Funds. You can check the background of SIDCO on FINRA's BrokerCheck. SIDCO is not affiliated with First Manhattan Co.
