The Firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner who will report directly to the Co-Heads of Wealth Planning. This is not a client-facing role and would not be suitable for a planner with a book of business.


Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the operations behind the wealth planning offering at the Firm
  • Stay on top of and research rules, regulations, legislative changes, and trends related to financial planning
  • Liaise with legal compliance and supervision as needed
  • Draft wealth planning-related white papers for client and internal distribution
  • Review third-party software programs to evaluate their relevance for the Firm
  • Support Co-Heads of Wealth Planning in updating the Firm’s capital market assumptions in eMoney on an annual basis
  • Candidate will have a preference for analytical work

The preferred candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and able to effectively communicate internally with portfolio teams both verbally and in writing. This candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Qualifications:

The CFP® certification is a prerequisite for this position. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of seven years’ financial planning experience in private wealth management. The ideal candidate currently works at a wealth management firm, a fintech firm, or in the wealth management division of a large bank.

  • Experience supporting high-net-worth wealth advisors and financial planners
  • Experience reviewing wealth plans/analyses
  • Empathy, compassion, and strong listening skills
  • eMoney experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of trust and estate planning
  • Ability to perform research and draft financial planning-related articles

Compensation:

The position offers competitive compensation consisting of a base salary plus an annual performance-based discretionary bonus. The base salary range is $175,000 - $225,000.
