Alvaro Spinola, CFA®, is a Partner, the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Operating Officer, and a member of First Manhattan's Management Committee.
Prior to joining First Manhattan in 2017, he was the CFO of Itaú-Unibanco's New York operations. Previously, he was the Head of Strategic Planning at a private equity venture, CNAA, and a Mortgage-Backed Securities Trader at Fannie Mae.
Alvaro holds an MS in Accounting from Kaplan University, a BA in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania, and Series 7, 24, and 27 FINRA licenses. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CFA® charterholder.
