Edwin Vroom is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager with over five decades of experience advising individuals, families, and institutions.
Prior to joining First Manhattan in 2025, he founded Roanoke Asset Management in 1978 and led the firm for more than 45 years. He began his investment career at Bankers Trust Company, where he served as Vice President and Division Executive for over a decade, managing employee benefit portfolios for Fortune 100 companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Ed holds a BS from New York University’s School of Commerce and Banking.
