Kenya Henderson is Senior Managing Director, Chief Marketing Officer, and a member of First Manhattan's Management Team. With more than 25 years of experience, she brings deep expertise in marketing, brand strategy, content development, public relations, and strategic communications. She has a proven track record of building and scaling marketing and communications functions for financial services organizations.
Since joining First Manhattan in 2018, Kenya has led the Firm's marketing and communications strategy, strengthening its brand and presence in the marketplace. Previously, she held leadership roles at The Bank of New York Mellon, where she served as Global Group Manager for Marketing & Communications, and at S&P Global Ratings, where she was Global Head of Sales Marketing and Chief of Staff to the Chief Commercial Officer. Earlier in her career, she was a Book Publicist for financial and business titles at McGraw-Hill and Rutgers University Press.
Kenya holds a BA from Rutgers University and is an alumna of INROADS. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three daughters.
