Nancy Hu, CAIA, is a Director and the Chief Operating Officer and Research Analyst for the Greenleaf Partners Fund, LP, where she is responsible for investment research, portfolio due diligence, and operational oversight. Prior to joining First Manhattan in 2018, she performed hedge fund manager due diligence and investment research at Analytical Research, Gallatin Advisors, and Young America Capital, advising family offices, institutional investors, and hedge fund managers on manager selection and portfolio construction.
Earlier in her career, Nancy worked as an equity research associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, covering publicly traded REITs, and held financial planning and analysis roles at Lightstone and News Corporation. She also worked in foreign exchange sales and hedge fund due diligence at TD Securities and began her career as a management consultant with Deloitte.
Nancy earned an MBA in Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
Nancy lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
