Employee Resource Group
Our FM Women’s Network, which is open to all First Manhattan personnel, was formed in March 2023. The goal of the Network is to strengthen and cultivate relationships at First Manhattan and foster professional development and growth.
Diversity and inclusion in recruitment
- In 2023, 33% of all new full-time hires at First Manhattan were women and 25% were people of color.
- Through our partnership with Seizing Every Opportunity (SEO), an organization that prioritizes diversity and inclusion in its recruitment and training of high-achieving college students for challenging summer internships, we are hiring diverse interns and placing them in teams such as Portfolio Management and Research.
Firmwide DEI training
- We leverage a variety of internal and external training tools and partners to help educate our personnel on relevant, important DEI topics.
