Joseph Sammarco is a Senior Managing Director, the Head of Operations, Supervision, and Trading, and member of First Manhattan's Management Committee. His experience in the financial services industry includes an extensive background in operations, technology, and financial products and services.
Prior to joining First Manhattan in 2016, Joe was at Pershing LLC for nearly 20 years. His most recent role was providing business consulting services to broker-dealers and registered investment advisors to help them increase efficiency and profitability. Previously, Joe held senior positions at Bear Stearns and Bankers Trust Company.
Joe holds a BA in Business from the City University of New York, as well as Series 24 and 7 FINRA licenses.
